In recent years, mental health practitioners have seen the need for mental health care increase dramatically in our community. Treatment can be extremely costly, causing many to forgo the care they desperately need. A core group of motivated mental health practitioners has teamed up with Project Ezrah to help address this communal imperative, through a new program called Ezrah L’ Nefesh, to help our community combat these challenges.
Ezrah L’Nefesh aims to:
- Help cover the cost for mental health treatment for those in need
- Compile a database of NJ-licensed mental health care practitioners for people to contact regardless of whether they need financial assistance
- Raise awareness of the need for mental health care support in our community
Help us launch this initiative in loving Memory of Dr. David Thaler whose optimistic and thoughtful practice of psychology healed hundreds of minds and souls, and whose very presence was always a joyful and healing experience.
