

Malca and Rabbi Haim Jachter
Rabbi and Rabbanit Malca Jachter have five children and three grandchildren and reside in Teaneck, New Jersey. Rabbi Jachter serves as the rabbi at Congregation Shaarei Orah, the Sephardic Congregation of Teaneck, and a popular Torah teacher at the Torah Academy of Bergen County for thirty years. He also serves as a Dayan on the Beth Din of Elizabeth and has acquired an international reputation of excellence in the area of Get and Eruv administration. He is a member of the Rabbinical Council of America’s Halacha Committee and chairs its Igun resolution committee. Rabbi Jachter lectures worldwide on subjects of vital concern to the Jewish community. He is also called upon by over seventy communities throughout North America to assist in constructing, expanding, and maintaining their Eruvin.
Rabbanit Malca plays a vital role as the backbone of the Jachter family. She shares her wisdom with hundreds of people who approach her for guidance including countless kallahs in her role as kallah teacher. Rabbanit Malca is also a role model for her five children and her in- law children in her role as eishet chayil, mother and grandmother.
