What can you expect as a new candidate to Project EZRAH? Candidates are met both with sensitivity as well as an understanding of the job market. Project EZRAH treats each candidate as an individual.
The initial contact with a new candidate starts with a simple telephone call. The counselor at Project EZRAH assigned to the candidate’s specific area of expertise requests a resume with at least three references (two business and one personal.) After the references have been checked by telephone, the candidate meets with his Project EZRAH counselor for an in-depth interview. This initial meeting is designed to determine job-readiness as well as the type of environment and job opportunity appropriate to each candidate.
At this meeting, the candidate is made aware of all of Project EZRAH’s assistance services, the weekly lunch meetings and periodic specialty symposiums. We try to determine with the candidate how best Project EZRAH can help in their job search as well as in their day-to-day living during challenging times. Many candidates schedule additional appointments to discuss career direction, resumes or interviewing skills.
The Project EZRAH staff is committed to work with each candidate on an ongoing basis to connect them with potential employers as well as to determine personal needs that may go beyond the spectrum of employment.
